Key fashion advice for hitting the water…
No ‘body’s’ perfect
The very first thing to know is that there are very few perfect bodies out there. Everyone has something they are trying to deal with. Whether you’re curvy and full figured or stick thin and boyish, top-heavy, bottom-heavy or somewhere in between – there’s a flattering bathing suit to suit you.
Less is more
Some of the most beautiful women are seen on the beach wearing a one-piece bathing suit – you don’t need to reveal it ALL – just enough to keep things interesting. Many one-piece suits will show more back and less tummy, others show a bit more cleavage or thigh. Show off your best assets and try to conceal the others and always remember that you are aiming for a balanced silhouette.
Balance
The single most important rule for swimsuit shopping is balance – that’s what Speedo try to achieve for everyone, whatever body shape or issue / problem area may be. By balance, we mean you want your bottom half and top half to balance out and for your body to look proportional at all times. The same rules apply to your swimwear as they do to your ordinary clothes shopping.
Quality over quantity
Speedo suits are designed not to cut into the shoulders using comfortable, stretchy fabrics that won’t creep up the backside. Nothing will come undone or over-reveal in a Speedo suit – whether you’re doing laps of the pool, picking up and putting down the kids during lessons, or even snorkelling off a crowded beach.
